Week after week after week things happen and I try to capture it on this site.
This week wasn't too crazy, well we had two football games, actually three but two of them are JV.
So let me start on Monday.
Monday we had our first JV game on a Monday instead of as usual Saturday.
We ended up losing the game, but we were only 16 people playing and we lost by one touch down, so we played a good game. I had to play right tackle, since we were down so many people, but I was glad I could help my team play even if it was a way I never played before and had some struggle.
The week wasn't exciting from that point on but I took some pictures by night, I will put them in the bottom.
Even though not that much happened this week I was thinking about my exchange year quite a bit, and how crazy it is that I already have spent almost two months in the USA!
But enough of my thoughts of exchange and stuff.
Friday we had another Varsity game, it was in Dekalb.
And it was their homecoming game, so a big deal for them. We had the Kick off and I got the ball into their End Zone, that was quite exciting. But all in all the game didn't go well for us.
We only scored one touch down.
Then Saturday came by and we had our JV Game.
Another bad game for us.
But my afternoon was exciting.
I went to a friends farm.
Sounds boring, but they have an Emu out there. And two Camels, and a bunch of beautiful horses and ponys, some sheep, some goats, some rabbits and some dogs and one of them became my best friend as Maddie puts it.
After we saw all animals we drove to their aunt and visited a buffalo farm on the way, those bulls are huge, I don't want to be in their way.
At their aunts farm we rid on a sled behind Maddie's crazy horse which has to be broken so it can go to competitions.
I also saw the biggest horses I have ever seen. Their shoulders were way higher than my head and I am not that short!
Well all in all we had a fun afternoon, at least I had but I think the two sisters too, and came home just a bit before Mike came home with Chiara, his granddaughter.
Today Sunday we first went to an Oldtimer meet, wow they had some pretty cars there and then to the pioneers festival, on which Lizzy and the Varsity Singers sang, so we listened to their performance, which was quite good, but probably not my favorite music.
And I guess that s about my week, it wasn't the most exciting one, but it was the first time today I slept in since I am here!

Here are some pictures

its hard standing still with an exposure time of 30 sec...
i think thats quite cool, its without photoshop or anything like that
i am always surprised how many stars i can see from my fron door

yap thats the camel, it was fun being out there.

some of the cars we saw were really pretty, but others looked like they would need some work on them:

Thats about it for this week, I'd say there are more pictures than text involved this week, but I guess that happens sometime...
