One week more of living in the USA.
I am still having a great time. I just love how friendly everybody around me is and how i can interact with the football team.
This week wasnt too crazy. There wasnt a lot of stuff going on but still some cool things were around.
Well we had to end football practice early quite a few times this week because there was too much water coming from the sky or lightning going on.
All in all this week was crazy speaking of football. I got to play as the Varsity Kicker on Friday and was kicking every kick we had to do on Saturday. I only had one Kick off both days, because we lost both games against East Noble with 42:0. But on Saturday I had to do a lot of punting, an awful lot. I would say I didnt perform too bad. I mean all kicks besides one were in and all had distance but not always as much as i wanted to. But one punt really stood out, I was kicking almost in our Endzone but got it almost all the way up to the opponents one. the punt was something over 70 Yards...
Besides that this week in school we finished our History Projects, called "Creating a political Party". So we had to do presentations about what we did and how we would work on Friday. To be honest our group didnt work very well and we had some issues with absence and so on...
But since this project is finished now I can hope to have a better working group next time :)
Another special thing this week was the wedding in Chicago Karolee and Mike went to, so I stayed with Eli at his house from Saturday to Sunday. He has a pretty interesting house. I actually quite like the house.
Also I ate two Burgers this week. Once with Karolee at the Golf Club. That Burger was delicious. It had, besides cheese and meat, bacon and also an egg in it. It was fantastic.
And yesterday Jorden, Eli and me went to the newly opened "Hardees" which is right next to the school and had another Burger which was fine but not as good as the one at the Norwood Golf Course.
Speaking of Golf, today Sunday I also went golfing for 9 holes before Karolee and Mike came back.
After about 3 holes I catched up to three older guys, Jerry, Jack and Terrel, and played the rest with them. They were great guys and I had a lot of fun. And in addition I also played really well. It was actually crazy. If I dont count those 3 lost balls, which I really dont know why they went so far off, I played only 3 over par! And even if we count them it is still only 9 up which is still great for me :)
All in all i had another fun week and still met a bunch of new people which is always exciting.
And I got to play on Varsity, only one ball contact, but thats still great and exciting for me, especially because it was a home game so a lot of people were there and I actually did exactly what I should :)
