A few things have happened in the past one and a half week.
The last weekend I got to see another state, Kentucky. We made a short day trip, 3h of driving, to Louisville, where one of my new host brothers lives. We ate some good Mexican lunch and after went to a ope bridge park with ziplines. The special thing about this park: It is underground. And not just that. It is actually a old bomb-shelter that was created in an old stone mine. The place is so big, you can take a 1,5h electric bike tour through the whole system. There is also a bike park in it and a zipline only park. Absolutely crazy!
Sunday I played Basketball for the last time in the fun league in the YMCA. So from now on I won't even have plans on what do do on Sunday nights anymore.
Then a not so fun week came up, I was sick for the first two days and at home and not feeling well through the rest of the week. Towards the end of the week I finally felt a little better again and I could even attend a practice again.
Also during the week a whole boatload of chocolate arrived from Switzerland. That is always a wonderful happening.
Then the weekend came. Saturday we had dinner with an AFS representative here at home, since somebody has to see the home for every exchange student.
We had a lot of good conversations and quite a long dinner.
Sunday I mostly just did homework and finished my week without anything really exciting happening.
